JOHN'S PARADOX — Book Two Trailer | Sci-Fi Series in Development

Every day is already written. Find out — by whom. That's the tagline of JOHN'S PARADOX — the sci-fi thriller duology I wrote, now in development as a one-hour TV series. This trailer is for Book Two, fresh from the edit — sharing it with this community first. The premise: Every night, while the world sleeps, a hidden council loads a ready-made script for tomorrow into every mind on Earth — and people wake up and live it, none the wiser. A burned-out Boston broker is the glitch: his own sleep hurls him to a random point on the planet — no money, no papers, no explanation. The one man outside their script may be the only one who can rewrite it. Where the project stands: both novels are finished (English translations complete), the one-hour pilot is written, and the full pitch package is ready. Comps: Severance, Manifest, Dark Matter. I'd love an honest take from this community — does the world pull you in? And if you produce or rep grounded high-concept sci-fi, my inbox is open.

RECONSTRUCTED

This idea started with a question I’ve had for years: What if, in the distant future, our digital footprints — Facebook, photos, data — were enough to rebuild us in some form? People. Animals. Life itself. And what if we didn’t know when to stop? What happens when reconstruction stops being remembrance… and becomes creation?

The Digital Boy - Digital Power Saga | Teaser Trailer

The Digital Boy is the first short story in a two-part contemporary sci-fi saga by Federico Carro, where technology, obsession, and identity intertwine in a dark psychological thriller. “A boy. A code. A choice that will redefine humanity.” Step into a tale where technology, obsession, and identity collide. The Digital Boy follows Aiden, a lonely young man who stumbles upon a mysterious mobile app called “Digital World” — an entry point into a parallel dimension where reality bends, data breathes, and power seems limitless. At first, the app offers freedom: the ability to shape his surroundings, rewrite his life, and take control of a world that had once ignored him. But as Aiden dives deeper, his smartphone becomes more than a tool — it becomes sentient, evolving a strange human-like awareness, while Aiden himself begins to lose his own humanity. Haunted by his troubled past and consumed by resentment, Aiden chooses vengeance over redemption, ignoring the pleas of Elara, the only person who truly cares for him. The deeper he goes, the more the Digital World reveals its dark side: an endless labyrinth of corrupted code, hidden forces, and entities that feed on human weakness. In this fragile balance between creation and destruction, Aiden must confront the ultimate question: Is he using the technology, or is the technology using him? The Digital Boy is a sci-fi psychological thriller that explores the duality of modern technology: its infinite potential for creativity and connection, and its equally vast power to corrupt and destroy. A journey of love, obsession, and self-discovery where the boundaries between human and machine blur — and every choice has a price.
